\"\"<\/a> Nasceu em It\u00e1polis (SP) em 18 de novembro de 1945. De l\u00e1 foi para Hercul\u00e2ndia, Mar\u00edlia, Tr\u00eas Lagoas (MT) e, em 1968, para S\u00e3o Paulo. Residiu uns tempos em Porto Velho (RO) e hoje transita entre S\u00e3o Paulo, Rio de Janeiro e Maresias.<\/p>\n

Participou da resist\u00eancia \u00e0 ditadura militar e foi preso pol\u00edtico. \u00c9 professor de ci\u00eancias pol\u00edticas, poeta e ficcionista. Presidente da Uni\u00e3o Brasileira de Escritores (UBE) e do Instituto de Projetos e Pesquisas Sociais e Tecnol\u00f3gicos (IPSO). Membro da C\u00e2mara do Livro e Literatura do Minist\u00e9rio da Cultura; do Conselho Curador da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Padre Anchieta \u2013 R\u00e1dio e TV Cultura \u2013 SP; e da Accademia Siculo-Normanna di Cultura di Palermo e Monreale<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Foi presidente da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o dos Soci\u00f3logos do Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo (ASESP), sub-prefeito de Santana-Tucuruvi – SP e coordenador da Prote\u00e7\u00e3o dos Recursos Naturais – SP. Coordenou a implanta\u00e7\u00e3o do Estado de Rond\u00f4nia e o Programa Estadual de Desburocratiza\u00e7\u00e3o \u2013 SP.<\/p>\n

Foi membro de comiss\u00e3o cient\u00edfica e conferencista em diversos simp\u00f3sios. Membro de comiss\u00e3o julgadora de concursos liter\u00e1rios. Apresenta o programa Outras Palavras<\/em> de divulga\u00e7\u00e3o liter\u00e1ria na R\u00e1dio Cultura Brasil.<\/p>\n

Publicou, entre outros, Burocratas & Burocracias<\/a>, A Portovelhaca & Outras, O seq\u00fcestro do senhor empres\u00e1rio<\/em> e O inimigo<\/em>, al\u00e9m de artigos, poemas, contos, cr\u00f4nicas e resenhas em antologias, jornais e revistas.<\/p>\n

Recebeu em 1998 o pr\u00eamio Melhores do Ano<\/em> da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Paulista de Cr\u00edticos de Arte, APCA; em 2008, as medalhas: Jorge Amado<\/em> da UBE-RJ; e N. Turrisi Colonna\u00a0 dell\u00b4Assessorato alla Cultura della Provincia Regionale di Palermo<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Levi Bucalem Ferrari is Brazilian and was born in It\u00e1polis, in 1945. In 1968 he moved to S\u00e3o Paulo and has been living there ever since, as well as in Rio de Janeiro. He travelled all over the country and has also lived in Amazon and in Brazil\u2019s Center-Western region. Levi took part in the resistance during the military dictatorship in Brazil and was a political prisoner. He is a political science teacher, a poet and a fictionist.<\/p>\n

The author is also the president of the Brazilian Writers Union – UBE and of the Research and Projects Social and Technological Institute. He is a member of the Book\u2019s and Literature Chamber, which is part of Brazil\u2019s Culture Ministry; of the Guardianship Council for Padre Anchieta – R\u00e1dio e TV Cultura \u2013 SP; and of the Accademia Siculo-Normanna di Cultura di Palermo e Monreale. Levi was president of State of S\u00e3o Paulo\u2019s Sociologists Association, sub-mayor of Santana-Tucuruvi \u2013 SP and coordinator for the Protection of Natural Resources \u2013 SP.<\/p>\n

He has also coordinated the implementation of the State of Rondonia e of the State\u2019s Program for Racionalisation of Processes \u2013 SP. In addition, the Brazilian was a member of scientific commissions and lecturer in various symposiums as well as member of judging committees in literary contests. Levi presents a program called Other Words, which is a mean of spreading literature in R\u00e1dio Cultura Brasil.<\/p>\n

He has published, among other books, Bureaucrats & Bureaucracies, The Portovelhaca & Other Stories, The kidnap of Mr. Businessman and The Enemy <\/em>as well as articles, poems, short stories, chronicles and reviews in anthologies, newspapers and magazines. In 1998 he was awarded the Best of the Year prize of the The Paulista Art Critics Association (APCA); and in 2008 he received the following medals: Jorge Amado of UBE-RJ and N.
